Ceb Confirms Timado as Permanent Dota 2 Player for OG at ESL One Birmingham 2024

In a surprising turn of events, S√©bastien “Ceb” Debs has confirmed that Enzo “Timado” Gianoli is a permanent part of OG’s active Dota 2 lineup and not just a temporary player who is on trial.

The revelation was made during an interview with Jake “SirActionSlacks” Kanner at ESL One Birmingham 2024, who wanted to know if Timado was still being tried out by OG or if were they ready to bring him on board, “If he (Timado) wins is he still on trial period?”

Ceb’s response to the query caught the community by surprise as he went on to state, “Who said he was on trial?”, leaving everyone including SirActionSlacks perplexed.

Timado Becomes a Permanent Player for OG as Confirmed by Ceb

During an interview with SirActionSlacks on 25th April at ESL One Birmingham 2024 which took place between the first and second game against BetBoom Team, a shocking revelation was made by Ceb who revealed that Timado was not a permanent player for OG, an integral part of its active lineup, and no longer a stand-in for the side.

When asked if Timado was an official team member, Ceb responded, “Yeah, yeah, he is in the team, he is here with us, everything is how it should be. I think maybe there was like a communication thing.”

Ceb went on to talk about the time Timado first played with the current OG lineup during DreamLeague Season 22 where they finished at a respectable sixth position.

“It hasn’t been a trial for a while now,” confirmed Ceb, before adding that he hopes Timado is aware of this.

The thing is that no official statement on the matter has been published by either OG or Timado. However, Ceb has confidently said that it has been a while since Timado was treated as a stand-in and is a part of the team’s active roster.

So far Timado has competed in two tournaments and two qualifiers with OG and the team’s performance has been pretty decent.

  1. DreamLeague Season 22 | 6th Position

  2. DreamLeague Season 23: Western Europe Closed Qualifier | 3rd Position

  3. PGL Wallachia Season 1: Western Europe Closed Qualifier | 2nd Position

  4. Elite League 2024 | 9th-10th Position

OG has done pretty well till now in ESL One Birmingham 2024, fighting through the group stage to qualify for the playoffs, where they lost against BetBoom Team in the upper bracket semifinals to fall down to the lower bracket.

It will be interesting to see how long would OG survive knowing that the team likes to give their absolute best when their backs are against the wall.
