The first game of 1win Series Dota 2 Spring will be played between 1win and Entity in Group B, scheduled to kick off at 17:00 SGT.

1win made its debut at the recently concluded DreamLeague Season 22 after signing Klim Sani4’s roster but was knocked out of the group stage. This resulted in them acquiring the lowest points in their group.

However, despite the bottom-place finish in its group, 1win was able to tie with some big teams like Xtreme Gaming, Tundra Esports, Team Secret, and Team Liquid. Keeping this in mind, it is clear that 1win certainly has the potential for more and readers should keep an eye out for them.

Entity will be going against this young team. Since its disappointing performance at The International 2023, Entity has not found much success in qualifying for any major tournaments. It was last seen playing at the recently concluded Games of the Future where it finished 5th-6th

The team seems to have found some kind of form judging by its success at the recent ELITE League qualifiers, but it remains to be seen whether Entity can triumph over this young team or will be trampled over.

The second game of the tournament will take place at 18:00 SGT and feature a battle between two talented teams from Eastern Europe.

Virtus.pro is one of the storied teams of Dota 2 and has been one of the greatest teams to come out of the region. However, a thing for concern is Virtus.pro’s habit of playing well in the qualifiers but underperforming during the main tournament.

Their recent performance reflects this behavior having finished 9th-12th at BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai and 9th-10th at DreamLeague Season 22. The question that now remains to be answered is whether Virtus.pro is ready to break this trend or not.

Challenging Virtus.pro will be L1ga Team, comprising its former player Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev. The newly formed team has seen major roster changes recently and has been ridiculed by its former players.

L1ga Team has continued pushing but the efforts have been in vain so far as it has not found much success in its endeavors. The team last played at Games of the Future where it finished 15th and also failed to qualify for ELITE League after losing to 1win.

The third game of the day is slated to kick off at 19:00 SGT. It will feature a two-time, TI-winning team, Spirit, going against one of Dota 2’s oldest and most storied teams that recently made a comeback to the pro scene, Mouz.

Team Spirit is unanimously one of the strongest teams in the current Dota 2 scene and had a stellar run in 2023. However, its form seems to have dropped slightly and it has not been able to perform optimally. At the last two tournaments, Team Spirit finished BetBoom Dacha 2024 with a modest 5th-6th standing and DreamLeague Season 22 with a respectable 4th place finish.

MOUZ, on the other hand, will be playing its first tournament since its comeback. Its comeback after leaving the Dota 2 scene in 2017 was greeted by many and the old fans are certainly happy to see this iconic team’s banner in tournaments once again. This game will be one of the matches to keep a keen eye on as one of Dota 2’s strongest teams goes against a veteran name in the circuit.

The last match of the day will take place at 20:00 SGT between Team Liquid and PSG Quest.

Team Liquid is known for its strong competitiveness and potential, finishing second multiple times during the 2023 competitive season, a result they attained at the recently held BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai as well. Team Liquid is undoubtedly one of the stronger teams in this tournament and a strong performance is definitely on the cards.

Coming to PSG Quest, the team has not played in a main tournament for a while, This is because it was denied spots at main tournaments by Team Falcons, edging them out in every qualifier since The International 2023. However, the team was invited to the Games of the Future 2024 and performed modestly, finishing 5th– 6th. It remains to be seen whether PSG Quest can prove to be a worthy opponent against a powerhouse such as Liquid.
