Team Falcons’ Malr1ne Names the Top Three Mid-Laners

BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai and DreamLeague Season 22 winner Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak of Team Falcons recently revealed a list of the top three Dota 2 mid-laners. This revelation was made during a post-game interview at the recently concluded DreamLeague Season 22 upper bracket final. Malr1ne’s list comprised some well-known mid-laners but he didn’t include himself in the list. Considering that he is now regarded as one of the best mid-laners due to his recent accolades, it was rather weird that he chose not to include himself in the list. But, this could be due to a moment of humility.

Malr1ne’s Top Three Mid-Laners

During a post-game interview at the DreamLeague Season 22, Team Falcons’ Malr1ne named the top three mid-laners in the current Dota 2 scene. He said “gpk is a very strong opponent. I would say he is in the top 3 midlaners right now – Nisha, Quinn, gpk.”

His list was as follows:

Nisha (Team Liquid)

Michał “Nisha” Jankowski’s inclusion in this list is not a surprise as the Team Liquid player has been proving himself time and again as a competent mid-laner. Adding to his credibility, Nisha emerged victorious in the solo tournament at the BetBoom Dacha 2024 in which 40 players were vying for the title. Nisha, along with Team Liquid, has been securing a spot at the grand finals, tournament after tournament but can never seem to win them. Notably, Liquid was beaten to four tournament titles by Gaimin Gladiators in 2023.

Speaking of Gaimin Gladiators, Malr1ne’s second pick was none other than Quinn “Quinn” Callahan of Gaimin Gladiators

gpk (BetBoom Team)

Just like Quinn’s inclusion to the list was not a surprise, BetBoom Team’s Danil “gpk” Skutin’s inclusion to the list is also no surprise. Considering that BetBoom Team is the first team to qualify for the Riyadh Masters at the Esports World Cup 2024, there must be some respect put on gpk’s name as a core team member. During the interview, Malr1ne said, “gpk is a strong opponent,” to back up gpk’s spot on the list.

That was Malr1ne’s top three mid laners of Dota 2 and it certainly had justified names on the list. With each of these three players as the best mid-laners in their own right, these mid-laners showcase their world-class gameplay, strategies, and wits.
