ATF Emphasizes Aui_2000’s Unique Approach in Contrast to Other Coaches

Team Falcons emerged as one of the strongest teams that underwent roster changes post The International 12 (TI12). It won BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 and is performing well in the ongoing DreamLeague Season 22 group stage. Falcons’ offlaner Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf came for the post-match interview after one of the series during the tournament and talked about how Kurtis “Aui_2000” Daniel Ling is different from other coaches he has worked with. In terms of drafts, ideas, and gameplay, Aui_2000 brings a holistic contribution to the team that he has not seen from other coaches.

ATF talks about working with Aui_2000 at Team Falcons

ATF has worked with some coaches over the course of his relatively short career and was asked about working with Aui_2000 at Falcons.

“I think Aui is a really good coach. He does a lot. He watches a lot of replays. He gives us really good ideas. I would say he is really different from other coaches that I had. He does kind of everything I would say that the coach needs to do and extra even.”

Aui_2000 joined Falcons in January 2024 alongside former Tundra Esports teammates Wu “Sneyking” Jingjun and Oliver “skiter” Lepko. As for his credentials, he holds The International (TI) victories in both his capacities as a player and a coach, making him one of the most successful players turned coaches.

Prior to Aui_2000, ATF worked with coaches like Sébastien “Ceb” Debs, Mikhail “Misha” Agatov, and Park “March” Tae-won. The experience with Ceb and Misha took place during his time with OG in 2021-22, which also coincided with his breakthrough into the tier one competitive scene. His stint with March occurred while he was in Nigma last year.

ATF and Aui_2000 will be looking to enhance their synergy and assist Falcons in clinching another notable victory at DreamLeague Season 22. The team looks poised to advance to the second stage of the tournament, which is group stage 2, from where it would then have to progress to the playoffs.
