OG Moves Yuragi to Inactive Roster Despite Ceb’s Earlier Claims of No Roster Changes

In a shocking turn of events, OG announced it was moving its carry Artem “Yuragi” Golubiev to its inactive roster ahead of the DreamLeague Season 22 tournament. This move contradicts Sébastien “Ceb” Debs’s earlier claims of OG aiming of stability and not making any roster changes in 2024. Yuragi getting moved to the inactive roster could be an aftermath of the disappointing performance that OG put forth at the recently concluded BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai event, where it finished in last place.

Due to this roster change, speculations have begun to spur in the Dota 2 community. Rumor has it that Enzo “Timado” Gianoli who last played for Tundra Esports may be OG’s next carry player.

Yuragi’s Shift to Inactive Roster Sparks Speculations

On 20th February, OG and announced it was moving its carry to the inactive roster ahead of the upcoming DreamLeague Season 22. OG tweeted, “Today, Yuragi has officially been moved to our inactive roster. He has been an integral part of our success in OG 2.0, showcasing exceptional skill, dedication, and passion. Two years and two trophies later, we’re so grateful for our journey. Thank you for everything @Yuragii1!

However, with Rosesa Gaming at the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 Ceb revealed that OG will remain unchanged for 2024. He said that OG was all for “stability.” In the interview, Ceb said, “No changes on the OG side for sure. We are all for stability… What I can say is that from OG’s side, we always aim to have little to no changes. Always!”

Consequently, speculations have begun to spark in the Dota 2 community where many are speculating that Timado, who last played for Tundra Esports, may join OG as its next carry.

While others are siding with Nuengnara “23” Teeramahanon ’s carry. On the other hand, that Héctor “K1” Rodríguez could also be in the hunt for the same role in OG. However, 23 and K1 are both currently associated with different Dota 2 organizations: Aurora and Heroic, respectively.

Interestingly, a few years ago after the conclusion of The International 10, the team but that he declined the offer because he didn’t recognize the players on the roster. Subsequently, Yuragi joined OG as its carry.

DreamLeague Season 22 is just days away and a new carry announcement can be expected from OG in the next few days. It will be interesting to see who OG brings in to fill the void left by Yuragi’s departure.
