nouns Parts Ways With Stormstormer After BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai

In the wake of elimination from BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai, Nouns Esports announced it was parting ways with its mid-laner Daniel “Stormstormer” Schoetzau. The announcement video was posted by nouns’ support Tal “Fly” Aizik. Fly explained that the team’s performance at BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai was unsatisfactory and although nouns managed to win a few games it was not enough.

At the BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai, nouns failed to win a single series and finished with a disappointing 9th-12th standing and took home $20,000.

Stormstormer Fails to Find a Home in nouns

Hey everyone, it’s fly from nouns and I’m here with a few updates. We recently got back from BetBoom Dacha and the tournament really didn’t go the way we wanted it to. We ended up losing in the groups and even though we had some good wins in there, it wasn’t just enough. So, ultimately we decided to part ways with Stormstormer,” posted on X.

Fly further thanked Stormstormer for his time with the team, calling him an incredible person. He also said it was a pleasure working with him and wished him the best moving forward. Fly also revealed that nouns would be announcing “something” regarding its new team member very soon.

Stormstormer is currently sitting on the inactive roster of Entity and was playing as a stand-in for nouns. It seems like this stint with nouns was also a trial for Stormstormer. This announcement from Fly indicates that Stormstormer failed to meet the expectations of nouns.

During the BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai, nouns was eliminated in the group stage. It failed to secure any series win. In group B, nouns went against teams like BetBoom Team, Xtreme Gaming, and Azure Ray and managed to draw with these teams. However, it faced and lost against Team Spirit and OG. nouns ended the group stage with a score of 0-3-2 and was knocked out of the tournament along with OG and Aurora, Virtus.pro from group A. 

It would be interesting to see who joins the ranks of nouns in the coming days or weeks to complete the roster.
